TASUED-Alumnus Emerge Winner of Goge Africa Competition

A graduate of Tai Solarin University of Education (TASUED), Ijebu, Ogun state in person of ISREAL PANDONU alumnus from the Creative Art Department emerged OVER ALL WINNER from the over 500 works submitted by Artists across Africa in a competition organized by Goge Africa.

Goge Africa was conceptualized with aim of promoting African culture, music, food and her ways of life through television, radio and magazines.

Here are the Winners for the #GogeAfrica20 Art Contest:

OVERALL WINNER: Padonu Israel (Our Culture, Our Heritage) (TASUED)

1ST RUNNER-UP: Onyibor Collins Uchenna (Contentment 1)

2ND RUNNER-UP: Oligbinde Samuel Rotimi (Traditional Drummers in Yorubaland)

3RD RUNNER-UP: Nzennaya Barry Ikechukwu (My Culture, My Heritage)

4TH RUNNER-UP: Odinakachi Okoroafor (Nwa Ada Igbo IV)

According to Goge Africa Official Handle, “In line with our commitment at the inception of the contest, here are the prizes for the top 5 entries:

1. $1,000 prize money (for the overall Winner)
2. A contract with Goge Africa (for the top 3 Winners)
3. Sponsored Travel opportunity with Goge Africa (for the top 3 Winners)
4. Exhibition Opportunity (for the top 5 Winners)
5. Publication opportunity on the Goge Africa Coffee Table Photo Book (for the Winner and 1st Runner-up)
6. Feature on the Goge Africa TV Show (for the top 3 Winners)
7. VIP Tickets to the #GogeAfrica20 Anniversary Dinner & Award Night (for the top 3 winners)
8. Certificate of participation + other consolation prizes
