The euphoria at the Matriculation Ceremony of 2018/2019 held at the University Auditorium on the 19th of February , 2019 was that of excitement and jubilation as TASUED Alumni offers scholarship to reward brilliant academic performance among those who were matriculated last year.
The scholarship which covers full tuition payment for the 2018/2019 Academic Session was Presented by the Vice President of the Alumni association, Pastor. Bello Adeshina to Oluwasegun Akindele Gabriel who had 4.49 CGPA. Interestingly, the maiden edition of this Alumni Scholarship was won by Miss. Oluwakemi Iwamitigha who also had 4.95 CGPA from French Department
Ostensibly, this is an annual gesture from the TASUED Alumni association, to continuously stimulate academic diligence, reading culture and reward brilliant performances among the undergraduates, as part of the core principles of Tai Solarin University of Education.
On behalf of the Alumni association, the National President, Mr. Oyekanmi, Abdullahi congratulates Oluwasegun, Akindele Gabriel with an advice to him and others to desist from any action, capable of putting the name of the University into disrepute.
