COSIT Crowned New King and Queen

Salami Oyindamola Naimat and
Ajiwe Ayomide Isreal, were on Tuesday crowned Mr and Miss COSIT, College of Science and information Technology 2019/2020 academic year.

The new Mr and Miss COSIT beat 4 other contestants to be crown in a contest that saw students showcase their dancing and communication skills as well as their dress sense and general knowledge mastery.

The exquisite dress of the enthralling new queen, who is a first year student from Biology department was made by the creative designer, Vickie Wears

“I feel very happy and grateful to everyone that supported me and most importantly I am really grateful to God for giving me the opportunity and the resources,” the new queen told the OWL Campus Media Reporter shortly after the event.

Asked what she will do with her new position, Alfred said: “I’m going to try and help my colleagues that will like to be in this position next year.

“I am going to add my own impact to COSIT in any way I can in terms of structures and any other thing I know I can support the college with.”

Similarly, Mr Cosit, Ayomide , chemistry department, 100 level doubled as the 100Level General Governor also spoke with the OWL Campus Media correspondents after the event, said “Actually, I feel so glad.
“I feel happy about this. “I never expected to be the winner; I just thought I was going to be probably the first runner up.

“I tried my best. “I believe in being outstanding in anything one does so I think that really helped me.”

Asked what he will do with his new position for the college, Mr Ayomide said: “I will try to be a good role model. “I will try to represent the college in so many ways and I will put in my best so people will see me like a mirror and a good representative of this college.
