In a deeply unsettling incident, Ola Fabiyi, a 400-level (Final Year Student) student of Tai Solarin University of Education (TASUED) and a prominent senator within the Student Union Government (SUG), has been brutally murdered by suspected cultists in Ijebu Ode, Ogun State.

Fabiyi, who was celebrating his birthday and looking forward to his graduation, was forcibly removed from his examination hall by attackers on Wednesday, July 3, 2024. The incident occurred in the presence of his fellow students, who were helpless to intervene.

Security personnel arrived at the scene only after the attackers had escaped. Despite immediate efforts to save him, Fabiyi was pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital.
