Stephen Keshi Stadium: The Center of the Action
At the heart of these exciting games is the Stephen Keshi Stadium, a world-class venue with a capacity of 25,000 spectators. The stadium’s facilities are nothing short of impressive. It features FIFA-recommended natural grass, and modern dressing rooms equipped with showers, heaters, lockers, and adjustable floodlights that create a stunning nighttime experience.
The stadium also boasts state-of-the-art media facilities, including two LED display screens, CCTV for security, LED advertising boards, and an Olympic-standard tartan track. For indoor sports enthusiasts, the venue houses a multipurpose hall for basketball, volleyball, handball, and a gymnasium, alongside an Olympic swimming pool and tennis courts.

The Games Village, designed specifically for Asaba 2024, opens its doors today, offering a warm welcome to the athletes and officials. With the official opening ceremony scheduled for Wednesday, September 11, 2024, excitement is building as athletes gear up for what promises to be a memorable competition.
