Tall. Slim. Dark. Multi-dimensional. Dynamic. Ebony. A.K.A. Black Diamond. These aren’t just words Tehilla Michaels uses in her introduction—they’re the essence of her presence in every space she enters. With a captivating on-air voice, magnetic confidence, and an unapologetic flair for creativity, Tehilla has carved her identity as one of the most dynamic voices to emerge from Tai Solarin University of Education (TASUED).
A graduate of Educational Media Technology, Tehilla made history as the first-ever presenter to go on air at EduTech Radio, a pioneering media platform launched by her department. From that very first broadcast to her final sign-off as a student, she held the mic with excellence, consistency, and fire—earning her the nickname: “The Radio Pulse Girl with a Voice that Shakes the Space.”
Her journey into broadcasting and content creation wasn’t born out of obligation, but out of curiosity, creativity, and a passion for storytelling. “Over the years, content creation and broadcasting have been my playground,” she shares. “I’ve always been drawn to the energy of a live event, the power of a well-crafted story, and the magic of connecting with an audience.” From volunteering at local events to refining her voice behind the mic, Tehilla’s early days were filled with experimentation, self-discovery, and the courage to step into the unknown.

Her practicum experience at Super FM 93.5 Radio further solidified her professional foundation. There, she evolved from a passionate student into a budding media personality, honing her broadcast skills and growing into a confident communicator whose words could move a crowd, stir thought, and spark laughter—all in one segment.
But Tehilla is more than a presenter. She is also an artist, songwriter, and vocalist. Her debut track, titled “Solo,” marks her official foray into music a personal journey that reflects her lyrical depth and emotional expression. Though not yet released on streaming platforms at the time of this writing, Solo is just the beginning. With a catalogue of written songs, Tehilla continues to explore the power of her voice—not just in spoken word, but in melody.
When asked how she views herself, Tehilla said:
“When I look in the mirror or watch my content, I see someone who is intentional about every page of her life—constantly evolving into the woman she’s always dreamt of becoming. A work in progress, always striving for growth. The fire in my eyes signifies determination that clearly engraves ‘I’m here, and I’m not going anywhere.’”
Tehilla embraces vulnerability. She proudly shares her light with the world and is never afraid to show her true self. She is passionate about life, with a zest for adventure and a deep curiosity that drives her to learn, grow, and create. She finds joy in the small things and constantly seeks to make a positive impact on the world around her.

Though her success appears seamless, her journey was not without its moments of uncertainty. She admits there was a time she approached her creative work playfully, uncertain about where it would lead. Some people supported her vision immediately, while others questioned it. But it was this mix of doubt and belief that fueled her drive. “I kept doing what I was doing, hoping for light at the end of the tunnel,” she says. That light came and it continues to shine brighter.
Her dreams are as bold as her voice. In the next five years, Tehilla envisions herself as a renowned broadcaster, hosting a successful show—be it on radio, television, or a digital platform where she can engage wide audiences, share inspiring stories, and spark meaningful conversations. She aims to mentor aspiring broadcasters, use her voice as a tool for advocacy, and become a beacon of truth, connection, and creativity in the media industry.
Her passion for communication is rooted in childhood. Growing up in a supportive home, storytelling and conversation were part of her everyday life. “I was always a curious child, always eager to learn and discover,” she says. That foundation taught her not only to connect with others, but also to craft powerful narratives that move hearts and inspire minds.

Tehilla’s legacy at TASUED extends far beyond her department. She is a role model, a creative force, and a proud ambassador of what it means to live intentionally and walk boldly in your gift.
“I want to use my platform to amplify voices, tell inspiring stories, and drive positive change in society. I want to leave a lasting impact on the world around me.”
