A remarkable milestone has been achieved by one of Tai Solarin University of Education’s (TASUED) very own. The first and only indigenous computer scientist in the university’s history, who completed his first, second, and third degrees at TASUED, has just bagged his Ph.D., marking the culmination of an 18-year academic journey.
In the face of Nigeria’s challenging academic landscape, including numerous ASUU strikes, this trailblazer’s determination and perseverance shone through. Securing a Ph.D. in Computer Science before the age of 40 is no small feat, and it is an achievement that will forever be etched in TASUED’s history. This proud moment not only highlights his academic excellence but also his role as a pacesetter and history-maker for his clan.
Undoubtedly, his late father in heaven would be immensely proud of this monumental accomplishment. With his expertise, there’s no doubt that he will continue to make lasting contributions to the field of computer science and beyond.
Cheers to this well-deserved success! We raise two bottles of Martell to celebrate you, Dr. Here’s to even greater achievements in the future!
