#DjEnimoney and friends (lyta, Davolee, DemmieV, Zayo and others) stormed TASUED on the 19th of April, The event was fun filled with energetic performances from notable artistes. The show was hosted by the Team Equipment 2017/2018 social director MC Coded at the OGD Hall.
As part of the Team Equipment achievement is the organized first-ever press conference/interactive session tagged “Meet The Vice-Chancellor (Prof. Abayomi Adelaja Arigbagbu) “ on the 31st of May.
This event witnessed the presence of Tasuedites in large numbers who were given the opportunity to ask questions directly from the Vice Chancellor, in which he provided answers to all questions and also enlightened Tasuedites on some issues. This event was organized by then TASUEDSU PRO (RIMNAS).
The ENATUS-TASUED chapter organized a programme, themed- The Upgrade (Living beyond yourself) during there 2018 2-days intra-competition. This life-transforming event was held on the 17th of May, at the College Auditorium. The guest speakers include Fela Durotoye, Jimi Tewe, Rufai Oseni and others…
#Gatesummit2018 is a remarkable event organized by a notable alumnus of TASUED on 24th of May at the TETFUND Auditorium. They shared their experiences on governance, agriculture, technology and entrepreneurship.
It was tagged ‘ The Gate to Self Reliance in the Digital Age’. The GATE SUMMIT 2018 is to be compared by Ishola Adebayo of Online Hub Educational Services.
The 6th edition of A-Day of 1000 praise and worship in TASUED was held on the 20th of May, at the university field, many Tasuedites, especially Christians dance away their sorrow with music from notable guest artistes. In fact, Tasuedites do tag this event as ‘ A-Day of 1000 Puff-Puffy’ due to the surplus give away.
The Independent Press Council of TASUED usually organize Debates for aspirants in collaboration with the OWL ampus Media and others. On the 26th of May, the TASUEDSU Aspirants Debate (#TAD18) was organized at the front of Block-A, over twenty Central Executives Council aspirants participated and it was witnessed by the university community at large.
TASUED governing council held investiture for the Vice Chancellor Prof Abayomi Adelaja Arigbagbu on 27th of June, as the fourth and first indigenous Vice-Chancellor of the university.
The 2018/2019 TASUEDSU election organized by ITEC for CEC aspirants on the 29th of June, it’s an unforgettable event due to the controversies with the result of the election.
On the 19th of October, the incumbent TASUEDSU hosted Dammy-krane and other notable artistes at the OGD HALL with a lot of music, dance and other side attractions, hosted by present TASUEDSU social director (RAPMONSTER)

The leadership of Tai Solarin University of Education Students’ Union led Sen Olamide Abeboun has expressed humble delight and laud the University Security Unit and Ogun State Police Command on the successful arrest of the criminal suspect usually causing unrest in the University community.
Followed by a successful trial and tip-off by well-meaning and cooperating members of the public, the security unit of the university in support to the police force successfully arrest the suspect in Ikorodu area of Ogun state.
The suspect (name withheld) has been responsible for the numerous and incessant rape and robbery cases in the students’ hostels, especially where female students are dominating.
Numbers of rape cases has been attributed to this person, after which he takes away money and other valuables meant for our peace living students.
The threat that the suspect and other security information poses made the union authority to gave a directive in October for students to leave for their respective homes and urged Teaching Practise Students to play safe, exercise caution and be very security conscious, that the students’ union widely broadcasted then.
It should also be noted that the TASUEDSU executives had a very important meeting with the University Security head then on the alarming security threat in the university community at the moment.
Ever since then, the union executives have been cooperating and following progress reports on the security update in our university.
The Union President further said they believed in University Security for their convincing intelligence operation unit, and of course, their capacity and capability to secure multiple members of the public.
Further, We equally have no doubt that the security unit will continue to put their best and exact needful strength to tackle any security threat that might come their way in and outside our university environment.

TASUED Student dies – Miss Wemimo Olowojaye of department of English language, Tai Solarin University of Education, died in a fatal accident while returning back home after the celebration of the 10th convocation ceremoney.
Wemimo was described by her colleagues as an easy going, God loving and very friendly person. it was also comfired in a voice note sent by her colleagues that she boarded a private car after the celebration to return home but unfortunately, on getting to challenge in Ibadan the car was involved in a fatal accident and tumble over. In the process, she made an attempt to escape out of the car and lost her life in the process.
The newsis described as a big blow from her department and a sad celebration as she is an epitome of simiplicity, respect and love which she use in relating with all her mates, acquittance likewise her lecturers.
She was very hardworking during her schooling. Indeed death has cheated her.
