    This is OLUWATOBI OYINLOLA, the 27 years old Nigerian Genius. He is a graduate of TELECOMMUNICATIONS and INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY from COSIT, TASUED. He is a young & determined individual who believes that he can rise above all odds to become someone great in life & impact lives.

    He has a high intelligence quotient & sublime creative and innovative abilities and he has been able to partner with some great minds and they have innovated great projects together.

    OLUWATOBI OYINLOLA is an Embedded Systems Engineer with years of experience in the embedded systems field including extensive experience and involvement in embedded internetworking and development of software-driven hardware applications, using leading technology languages. An IoT (Internet of Things) Evangelist and a passionate member of IoT Europe which he was featured representing Africa on World IoT day explaining how he uses IoT to solve some critical Africa Challenges.

    Recently he has been working in the avionics sector with rLoop Incorporated (a company sharing the dream of realizing the fifth mode of transportation initiated by Elon Musk, i.e. the Hyperloop). Intel also awarded him as “Intel Software Innovator”. He has a very sound knowledge of versatile and high-performance 8-bit,16-bit and 32-bit microcontrollers built around the Atmega AVR core, ARM Cortex-M ( STM32).

    Over the years OLUWATOBI has always been involved in various projects by contributing to the hyperloop project initiated by Elon Musk, Or by helping food hunger and reduce environmental pollution in Africa with his IoT technology that provides a pay-as-you-go method for cooking using LPG. He is one of the 3 Nigeria’s that work as software Innovator for Intel.

    Tobi and 5 other collaborators from South Korea, India and America built a SOLAR POCHA (an autonomous outdoor leisure workstation that allows you to work outside while powered by energy. He understands that some people prefer to work outdoor, but the challenge is: How do I power my laptop, mobile phone, stable internet etc.? This gave birth to the innovation of the SOLAR POCHA.

    Tobi and his partners created a mobile app for online booking (To know if Solar Pocha is open to use) with GPS tracking.
    The plan is to develop more of the system and donate to campuses in Nigeria and Africa at large. He believes that collaboration is the key to innovation and this led to the design and building of the SOLAR POCHA.

    Lead the design and installation of LoRa based Smart Meters for over 30,000 customers with a pay-as-you-go platform fully functional for Power as a Service product (PaaS).

    SpaceX Hyperloop Pod Competition held in California. It was the only non-student, winning the “Pod Innovation” award 1 of 5 total awards presented for the event.

    He is well experienced and vest in IOT has a right attitude to work, inquisitive to learning and knowing a new thing, wide researcher and a good manager. OLUWATOBI OYINLOLA is one of the greatest export of TASUED to the world and he is doing wonderfully well for himself and he is a good ambassador of TASUED.

    Making a change required taking a step, this was the motive of Okesola Tiwalade Oluwasegun SETIOK who took to social media to trend TASUED TO THE WORLD, to rebuild the image of the Tai Solarin University of Education on Social media Landscape.

    Okesola Tiwalade is an alumnus of Tai Solarin University of Education (TASUED) and he’s currently undergoing National Youth Services Corps (NYSC).

    He is a content-writer, author, editor, footballer, activist and many more. During his undergraduate days on campus, he was a Unionist, HOC/G.G and he was also the runner up in 2016/17 TASUEDSU Presidential election.

    SETIOK is currently making the premier university of education in Nigeria #TASUED trending on social media with his publications tagged “TASUEDTOTHEWORLD“.

    #TasuedToTheworld is a trend initiated by Okesola Tiwalade Oluwasegun with the motive of correcting the negative news around TASUEDites on social media, especially on instablog.

    He started to redeem the images of TASUEDites on social media by publishing their success stories for people to see and know that they’re from his alma mater.

    Since he started posting about successful TASUEDites that are doing exploit in their chosen profession, he has published over twenty (20) successful stories and still counting because he said: “I am researching tirelessly on numerous success stories of TASUEDites, to be posted online as soon as possible”. 

    The hashtag #TASUEDTOTHEWORLD is now trending on numerous platforms on social media.

    Many people have begun to recognize TASUED products as a leading factor in all sector of the economy both within and outside country. 

    At the present moment, SETIOK facebook friends has reached five thousands (5,000) limit and many friends request are still pending.

    1. Olawale AYILARA – Real Estate

    This is 30-year-old OLAWALE AYILARA, the CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER of LANDWEY INVESTMENT LIMITED and a member of the FORBES AFRICA Under 30 class of 2018. He is an entrepreneur per excellence. He is a proud product of TASUED.

    He is a graduate of PETROLEUM and PETROCHEMICAL ENGINEERING and he has a MASTER in BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION from the LONDON BUSINESS SCHOOL, LONDON.

    He also posses a DIPLOMA in REAL ESTATE DEVELOPMENT and FINANCE from HARVARD BUSINESS SCHOOL, UNITED STATES of AMERICA. He is a proud product of my alma mater – TASUED. I’m proud of him.

    The highlight of his company – He has had about EIGHT MAJOR REAL ESTATE DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS within LAGOS in a space of ONE YEAR. He is also looking forward to great things and achieving more success.

    2. Funny Toheeb – Influential

    TASUED TO THE WORLD – This is FUNNY TOHEEB. His real name is TOHEEB ADEDOKUN, a 200 level student of TASUED from CREATIVE ARTS Department. He is 21 years old. He is a comedian, actor, MC, and creative. He is very creative.

    His CREATIVE RECREATION of CELEBRITY photos are probably the most hilarious collages you will see in recent times, which have given him a wave in the entertainment industry & get him listed as one of NIGERIA INSTAGRAM INFLUENCERS.

    He’s amassed almost 150,000 followers on Instagram and he is also known as NYLON BOY. TOHEEB describes his comic style as “CELEBRITY OUTFIT IN CHEAP VERSION,”. He shares hilarious collages of himself recreating celebrity photos on INSTAGRAM.

    Some of the comedian’s rib-cracking remakes include photos OF celebrities such as Toke Makinwa, Tiwa Savage, Davido, Wizkid, Laura Ikeji, Yemi Alade and American rapper Cardi B. He is gradually carving a niche for himself in the entertainment industry.

    He said he is not big yet, but he believes that the best is yet to come. Funny TOHEEB was recently featured by BBC Africa in an interview session. He is a proud product of my alma mater – TASUED.

    3. Ishola Adebayo – Digital World

    TASUED TO THE WORLD – This is ISHOLA ADEBAYO, a CERTIFIED TRAINER and TECHNOLOGY GURU. He is a graduate of ECONOMICS from our prestigious citadel of learning – TASUED. He was the DEPUTY SPEAKER of the STUDENT UNION while in 200 level (a rare feat and a record which hasn’t been matched till date at TASUED) while his SPEAKER then was ADELEKE SEYI (IJINLE).

    He also contested as TASUED STUDENTS UNION PRESIDENT in 2012/2013 with the likes of STAINLESSY, LAYEMI (the 1st and only female to contest as TASUEDSU PRESIDENT till date) and FM. CROWN AND STAINLESSY were disqualified and LAYEMI and FM contested the election which FM (a Political Scientist) won.

    He was fondly known as CROWN then and the YOUNG ENTREPRENEUR is making ends meet through his passion to create POSITIVE CHANGE in the SOCIETY through TECHNOLOGY. He has been a blessing to ample people who have learnt from him and he is a role model to many.

    He is the CREATIVE DIRECTOR of ONLINE HUB EDUCATIONAL SERVICES, also known as OnlineHubNG; Nigeria’s foremost digital content platform and also the Project Lead for RockSpace Nigeria; the first Co-Working Space & Ideation Lab in Abeokuta, Ogun State.

    He started the Online Hub educational services in 2016, just in a bid to create an educational technology platform where people, who are computer science and technology enthusiasts in Ogun state and Nigeria as a whole will have access to contents, training and workshop.

    He has been interviewed and featured on Nigeria’s foremost newspaper agency – TRIBUNE on the 8th of July 2019. He is making waves and making us proud as TASUEDITES. May he continue to grow, enjoy the grace of God and succeed in all his endeavors.

    4. Mc Gbagaun – Entertainment & Real Estate

    TASUED TO THE WORLD – This is ABIMBOLA SAMUEL, popularly known as MC GBAGAUN. He is a graduate of HISTORY & DIPLOMATIC STUDIES from COHUM, TASUED. He graduated in 2015. He is a comedian, master of ceremony, and also a real estate manager (Thebellproperty).

    He is the brain behind “Corper Gbagaun’s Diary” and also the just concluded “TASUED must laugh with MC Gbagaun & friends” show that happened at TASUED some months ago which was a great show and a sold-out one. It was the 1st of its kind and it recorded amazing and significant achievements.

    That was the first comedy show organized and hosted by a TASUEDITE at TASUED in which WOLI AGBA, DELE OMO WOLI, and the IPM MEMBERS were present, not excluding SISI QUADRI. It was indeed a great show that TASUEDITES enjoyed to the fullest and were satisfied with the great display. He is planning the next edition which will hold very soon.

    He has anchored several shows, events such as wedding ceremony, naming ceremony, house warming ceremony, fashion shows, etc. He is a success already & may God continue to uplift him in his chosen path & career. He is one of the most prized assets to have been produced by the 1st University of Education in Nigeria, 2nd in Africa & 8th all over the World.

    MC Gbagaun is a comedian par excellence and a senior colleague I respect because he is creative, hardworking, dedicated, passionate and committed to his work as a comedian and a master of ceremony. He is one of the many shining lights that TASUED has produced. May God bless him and his future endeavours.

    5. Eyinju Eledumare – Entertainment

    TASUED TO THE WORLD – This is ARIYIKE AKINYANJU ABIODUN, popularly known as EYINJU ELEDUMARE. She was born on March 8 and she’s from the pacesetter state – Oyo State. She is also a proud product of TASUED from the department of ENGLISH and LITERARY STUDIES from that artistic college – COLLEGE OF HUMANITIES.

    She started her acting career in 2006 & got trained under Nollywood director’s theatre group – ADEBAYO TIJANI FILMS PRODUCTION. She’s happily married & blessed with two children. She had always loved acting. She started acting right from her Primary school days. She would join a cultural & dramatic society or club. Acting or Entertainment was all she ever wanted & she has been doing it to the best of her ability.

    She has featured in countless movies which include Eyinju Eledumare, Angelimi, Omo Agunpopo, Ifemi, Ejika, etc. She is quite a beautiful and stunning actress and she is still doing her best to become greater than she is in the Nigeria movie industry and by God’s grace, she will become greater than she is.

    Her major role in “Eyinju Eledumare” earned her more award and nomination for recognition, Best of Nollywood (BON award) “most promising act female 2012 nomination”. Yoruba Heritage Awards (YHA), USA “Best upcoming Actress of the Year 2014” Winner. Nigeria Entertainment Awards, USA. “Best indigenous female Actor” 2015. Nominee. MAYA awards, “Best Actress Yoruba” 2015.

    She is a kind-hearted, nice, God-fearing, intelligent, committed & dedicated actor. She was also a one time nominee at TASUED Student Union award. She has played major roles basically in different movies like Ejika and Eyinju Eledumare. She is one of the products of my alma mater – TASUED and I’m proud of her.

    We Remain Advocate of Students Interest and Welfarism – Team Emancipation

    Team Emancipation – As the 11th leadership of Tai Solarin University of Education Students’ Union prepares to leave the stage for fresh administrators, it behoves on us to address the state of the Union, and to keep students faiths strong on matters that matter to our welfarism and concerns the student’s community.

    The President of the Union, Sen. Olamide Adeboun uses this moment to reiterate and assure students populace and the general public that the Students’ Union under his leadership will not leave strenuous, tedious or undue deal for the upcoming administration to battle with. We disagree with a system of operation whereby outgoing leadership in any capacity mindfully try to make governance ungovernable for the coming leadership.

    We are advocates of progress, development and redeeming the image of our Union irrespective of who governs its affairs in the students wing. Importantly, we believe all TASUEDITES are partners in progress and not retrogression, and that is what majorly concerns and paramount to us as students representatives. We will not play politics with students welfarism.

    Very particularly, the 11th leadership of our Union has not and will not sign or give assent to any increment of any fee whatsoever. The Union also promise TASUEDITES that within the available space of which we have to use in office as your representatives, we will disallow effectiveness of any nonexistent or strange payment, just like we have always been dutiful at doing.

    Serving as a flashback on one of what Team Emancipation achieved, the leadership pushed for decrease in payments of departmental levies for ease of TASUEDITES. We had felt, on requests of TASUEDITES, concern of the Union executives and observant members of our university community that it is sacrosanct to effect the reduction in the departmental levy for students WELFARISM, which we did.

    For that reason and many other reasons, ever since, and till now, some aggrieved members of the university community and concerned bodies who shows they benefit from the initial status quo(at students disadvantage), and that were not satisfied with the fresh development shade the leadership of the Union and of course pushed to always find nothing good in what we do to serve TASUEDITES.

    The leadership of the Union find peace and solace in constructive criticism. This we believe hold cogent aspect of effective representation. Criticism we believe keeps us on toes as students’ leaders and representatives and very sincerely, we have buildup successes on our cautious ways of addressing those criticism.

    As such, the Union leadership will always disagree with anyone or group of people who so desire to cast aspersions on our persons for reasons best known to them. Team Emancipation sees everyone as friends in the journey of delivering a Union that we can all call ours. However, it is saddening that many other mundane things interest some people in that service, – but we will not be distracted with it.

    Team Emancipation believes TASUEDITES are not forgetful of the fact that under our leadership, no payment increment is effective on TASUEDITES, even as widely rumoured by disbelievers of this current leadership. On numerous occasions, we demanded for reduction and slash of payments that were not justifiable and that we see as pure extortion on TASUEDITES.

    Sen. Olamide Adeboun led leadership of the 11th Tai Solarin University of Education Students’ Union again assure TASUEDITES to keep faith with her leadership, be calm and trust that where we are, in TASUEDITES absence, we will not watch and agree to any increment of fee on TASUEDITES.

    On a conclusive end, the 11th leadership of the Students’ Union will ensure we facilitate and position an honest, detail, thorough and easy handing over process to the upcoming 12th leadership of the Union. We shall provide a fair level ground for them to take the mantle of leadership where we shall be bowing out. Serving TASUEDITES should not be jettisoned for personal gains and reasons.

    It was truly a celebration of beauty, brain and cultural appraisal at the grand finale of the Miss Ideal Nigeria beauty pageant tagged ‘Girls Power’, which witnessed the emergence of Queen Abigael Ifeoluwa Somuyiwa, Miss TASUED 2019, as she was crowned Miss Ideal Nigeria Photogenic 2019.

    Queen Abigael Ifeoluwa, a 300level student of the Tai Solarin University of Education, studying English is an actress, model and humanitarian was crowned after emerging top 17 after series of the display.

    Early this year she was crowned Miss Interactive 2019 at and also emerge as Miss TASUED 2019/2020 and today she is taking up her third crown in a year.

    She has always seen herself as a future actress and International educator who changed believes in charging the world by empowering the mindset of Younger children. She loves and wants to render service to humanity, give hope to the hopeless.

    As parts of the event to spice up the day, many interesting performances were featured by notable musicians, poets and dancers. The Queens also performed choreography with a blend of contemporary and classical movements.

    It is a natural phenomenal that whatever have a beginning must surely have an end.
    The 11th president of Tai Solarin University of Education Students’ Union (Team Emancipation 18/19) in person of Sen. Olamide Adeboun has given stewardship account of his administration starting from his inauguration on the 4th of November, 2018.

    The president emphasized that “the union he led for a year successfully had significant points we can note and address as achievements. We have our scorecard and our achievements counts. The greatest of all our achievements is that we represent TASUEDites without selling their interest before the authority”.

    In his word, he said, the greatest of all achievements we have is representing you all without selling your interest before the authority. We however related with the university leadership in civil and responsible ways, that we best believe can give us answers to our questions, and it did.

    Olamide Adeboun, also appreciate all and sundry including the CEC, SHS, SJC, Management, Alumni, Friends, Families and TASUEDites at large.

    I led a Union with Team of great young men and ladies with similar notions and drive to represent all TASUEDITES. The other ten(10) members of the Central Executive Council that worked with me to execute the executive duties of our Union are individuals am proud of. They shown me what brotherhood and genuine partnership is and how much it pays to enjoy it. I am forever thankful to you all.

    Our legislators, the Students’ House of Senate(SHS) are team of seasoned and savvy individuals who shown me and all TASUEDITES that the interest of delivering a better Union is their priority. The Senate President, Distinguish Senator Faranye Abiodun led a team of young comrades and articulate legislators that kept us on toes and partnered us to serve TASUEDITES better. I particularly thank my good friend, the Deputy Senate President, Sen Oduloye Folorunsho who supported the SP and ensured the work is done.

    I am similarly grateful to the Students’ Judicial Council led Justice Akinolu Joshua for their judicial expedience. They are all a team of young and promising souls of our dear country. TASUEDITES should be proud of them all.

    Dear TASUEDITES, you are my greatest source of inspiration and icon of hope. You stood by me gallantly at all times. You all gave me an enabling atmosphere to serve you. I am notably glad to have you all as my backbone and strongest pillar. Adeboun Olamide would not have being a President without you, he would not have record all these without your unflinching support. Deeply and very earnestly, I wholeheartedly thank you for everything. I can not thank you enough.

    He concluded by saying, ‘I have served as your president and history will be there for reference’.

    One of the greatest opportunities of my life is leading and serving great intelligentsias and lovable students of Tai Solarin University of Education. I hold the opportunity awesomely and sees it as a profound privilege, – and as I move on with life, the experiences and lessons learnt in the cause of this service with help me, stand as a limelight in every situations and as a propelling steering that lubricate my well of thinking and guides my ways.

    Recently, a student of the Tai Solarin University of education, Bassey Ndifreke Gift was crowned Most Valuable Queen Nigeria 2019 at the just concluded Most Valuable Queen Nigeria.

    Ms. Bassey Gift, 300 Level Students of the Department of Adult Education, crowned after emerging after series of the display, question and answer moment in Bayelsa State on Saturday night.

    “From Bassey Gift to the world, dreams can in fact come true,” Gift, who is a model, said during her interview session with the News Men.

    LAS Victory – The emergence of Soneye Abdul Azeez Lekan (LAS) in the just-concluded Tai Solarin University of Education Students Union Central Executives Council (CEC) E-election for 2019/2020 academic session is unquestionable due to his untainted personality and antecedent in the students activism which gives him massive support from all and sundry within and outside the premier university of education in Nigeria.

    It is not a gainsaying that TASUEDites voted LAS Victory due to his visionary and missionary statement ‘Redefining and Restructuring TASUEDSU’ but a journey of a thousand miles will surely begin with a step.

    Let Assist Students is a good ideology to redefine and restructure TASUEDSU for better.

    Where will the campaign promises of LAS start from? because there many challenges confronting TASUEDSU:

    • Inseparable account with management: the financial account of the students union is in management custody and this means a lot.
    • Delay in budget utilisation: the TASUEDSU takes longer time to present their budget to the management in which delayed the release of fund to run the union.
    • Faulty TASUEDSU constitution: if you look critically at the TASUEDSU constitution as amended 2017, it’s obvious that it need to be reviewed to benefits the interest of TASUEDites at large.
    • Inadequate source of income: categorically the students union doesn’t have many sources of income to finance their activities.
    • Unaccountability of Executives: some of the TASUEDSU executives are not transparent and accountable in which hinder the progress of the union.
    • Caucus priority: major virus attacking the unity and progress of TASUEDSU is caucus agenda.
    • Power tussle between the arms of government: it’s no longer a news that the three arms of the union (CEC, SHS, SJC) always have conflict of interest.
    • Lack of beneficial programmes: the union doesn’t organize more developmental programmes for TASUEDites. Etc.

    Aside from the aforementioned challenges confronting TASUEDSU, there are many other issues TASUEDites are battling without an intermediary. For example insecurity of lives and properties, harassment, missing-scores, missing-scripts, technical-failure, etc.

    With all these stated challenges and beyond, it is crystal clear that uneasy lies the head that wears the crown.

    Sen. LAS, must know that TASUEDites are expecting much from his administration because to whom much is given, much is expected.

    Mr President Must be beware not to bite more than he can chew because people will want to instigate him, always remember the 3Cs of Aluta (Consultation, Consolidation, Confrontation).



    LAS, should not forget to obey and respect the rule of law in all ramifications. Also endeavor to carry TASUEDites along in all TASUEDSU activities by updating them from time-to-time.

    Finally, intellectual unionism is a tool for social development without violent.
