The Special Adviser to Gov Dapo Abiodun on Students’ affair, Comrade Adeyemi Azeez has congratulated the newly elected president of Tai Solarin University of education student union Comr Rabiu Sodiq, in a press statement released today, he also commended the students and stake holder for conducting themselves in peace manner during the election.

Congratulations on your election victory in the just concluded Tai Solarin University of Education (TASUED) Students Union election Comr Rabiu Sodiq as I equally congratulate the runners up and everyone who participated in the electioneering process.
I congratulate Tasuedites for peacefully conducting themselves, coming out in their numbers to vote in the elections, this has shown clearly that students and youth in general can conduct elections within themselves without any hindrance or rancor.
I congratulate the outgone leadership of the Union led by Soneye Abdul-Azeez Lekan and wish them well in their future endeavor.
Rabiu Sodiq of the department of political science has emerged as the elected 13th President of the Student Union Government of the Tai Solarin University of Education.
Rabiu Sodiq, who scored 7191 votes(61.74%), defeated Adeboye Nurein (21.95%) who scored 5,384 votes, and Alder Ololade who pulled 5,135 (16.31%)
The election which was conducted using electronic voting on the university portal started at noon and ended at 4:00 pm today, 26th of May 2021.
The newly elected president was the Assistant General Secretary in the present administration.
This is the first time a member of an incumbent administration would be elected as the president in TASUED.
The third day of the TASUED Finest organized 160 hours reality show witnessed the visit of business mogul Mrs. Yetunde Onanuga, to the house, in the course of her 30 minutes interaction with the housemates, she enlightened the house members on entrepreneurship.
According to the Olabisi Onabanjo University graduate, 160 hours reality show is a lifetime opportunity which the housemate must optimally maximized.
She traced her business orientation to her University days, this she said has helped in her business engagements.
She urged the house members to be business-oriented, network, and learn during their stay in the house.
She proffered solutions to questions asked by the house members while she wished them all the best.
Eviction Night – There was a new twist in the 160hrs Reality Show live show on Tuesday Night. The host TasuedFinest announced to the housemates that the team have decided to place all the housemates on possible eviction and they will only be saved with the viewers/fan’s votes. The housemates with the least number of vote will be evicted from the show during the first official eviction night on Wednesday Night by 9pm, which will be stream live on TASUEDFinest Instagram Page.
TasuedFinest also declared that the House Leader and the deputy will be immune to eviction. This means that Aisha Omotolani who won the House Leader challenge and the deputy House Leader (Adesola) are safe from eviction this Night.

An online guru and a business expert Mr. Ishola Adebayo visited the 160hrs reality show housemates yesterday, in an interactive session with the 20 house members, he enlightened them on the need to leverage the online platform for the growth of their brand and business.
He began by taking the house members down memory lane on the life before the pandemic and the after effect. The house members who were into business alluded to this narrative, according to Mr. Shola, the need of internet cannot be underplayed in the course of business transactions.
He advised the house member on the need to have an online and physical presence for their business, getting a website, and the need to use a uniform name on all social media platforms.
At the end of the interactive session, the business guru answered all the questions asked by the house members, these range from the meaning of CAC, how to get registered, how to get a domain name for a website, etc.
The 160 hours reality show organized by TASUED Finest continued yesterday afternoon with the rollout of possible housemates which are being put up for eviction.

The Deputy Director of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) of Tai Solarin University of Education (TASUED) was kidnapped within Ijebu-Ode on Thursday, 20th of May, 2021.
According to the press release on the abduction of the deputy director of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) of Tai Solarin University of University of Education (TASUED) by the University Public Relations Officer (PRO); “Mrs. Bolanle Lateefat Abimbola is a Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science, College of Science and Information Technology of Tai Solarin University of Education, Ijagun, Ogun State.
That on Thursday, May 20, 2021, she left the Ijagun campus of the University, having completed her assignment for the day. While returning home from other personal engagements at about 7:00pm, she was kidnapped within Ijebu Ode township while driving home.
No information has been received about her whereabouts since the unfortunate incident took place neither has her abductors got in touch with anyone. The case has since been reported to various Police formations and efforts are in top gear to rescue the abducted staff.
The University Management urges members of staff and students to remain calm as security within and around the University Campus has been further beefed up.
