COSMASSA Sympathizes With Bakare Jamiu Family

The College of Social Science And Management Sciences Students Association (COSMASSA) has extended their condolences to the family of Bakare Olamide Jamiu that lost his life in a gas explosion that occurred at Conference hotel, Abeokuta on the 18th of May 2021.

According to a press release by the COSMASSA president Elect Ann David Msughter said, “we wish to extend our condolences to the department of Economics Education and the family of late Bakare Jamiu for their loss”.

Although the COSMASSA executives said the cause of Bakare Olamide Jamiu is still not clear while the Tai Solarin University of Education Students Union (TASUEDSU) said it’s due to irresponsibility of the hotel management.

On behalf of Cosmassa, The President and all the members of the College Executive Council, we wish to extend our condolences to the department of Economics Education and the family of late Bakare Jamiu for their loss.

Mr. Bakare Jamiu, a 300l student of the department of Economics, died yesterday in Abeokuta the capital of Ogun state.
The cause of his death is still not clear yet.

We pray that the Lord God Almighty will fill the vacuum he has created in the heart of his family, colleagues, and friends.

We love you Jamiu but obviously, God loves you most.
Rest in peace till we meet again to part no more.
