In a heartfelt move that blends fashion with impact, Oluwaseun Kuforiji, the Guinness World Record holder and creative director of Koil Creation, officially launched the Koil Foundation today — a nonprofit platform focused on transforming lives, empowering creativity, and building stronger communities through fashion.
The launch, which took place to great excitement in Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State, marks a new chapter in Koil’s inspiring journey — from a fashion designer to a cultural icon and now, a social changemaker.
Koil, who made global headlines after sewing continuously for over 106 hours to set a new Guinness World Record, has shifted gears from personal success to communal impact with the unveiling of the foundation during a special press conference in Ijebu Ode, Ogun State.
PURPOSE-DRIVEN INITIATIVE
The Koil Foundation is built around a clear mission: To empower, uplift, and restore dignity to children in underserved communities through fashion and creative empowerment.
According to the founder, the initiative is rooted in three core goals:
Transforming Lives – Providing children with stylish, well-fitted clothing that boosts self-esteem and identity.
Creative Empowerment – Nurturing self-expression by introducing kids to creativity through fashion.
Community Impact – Strengthening communities by helping children discover their potential and feel valued.

“We’re not just giving clothes; we are giving children a reason to stand tall, dream big, and believe in themselves,” Koil shared while addressing journalists and supporters.
FIRST PROJECT: #CLOTHACHILD CAMPAIGN
As part of the launch, Koil also announced the foundation’s first major humanitarian project: #ClothAChild — a bold initiative to distribute 5,000 pieces of school uniforms and clothing to primary school pupils in public schools across Ogun State.
The project, according to Koil, is the beginning of a larger journey to break the cycle of neglect and invisibility that many children face due to poverty and lack of support.
“We’ve all seen kids go to school with torn uniforms or no shoes — it’s not just a fashion issue, it’s a confidence crisis. We want to change that,” he explained.
The #ClothAChild campaign will involve visits to schools, engagement with local communities, collaborations with tailors and creatives, and the mobilization of volunteers and donors from across Nigeria and the diaspora.

A STORY OF INSPIRATION
Koil’s rise from a young student at Tai Solarin University of Education (TASUED) to a national icon is as inspiring as it is humbling. Known for his resilience, creativity, and deep-rooted passion for making people look and feel good, Koil has turned his success into a platform for impact.
TASUED, a university that has produced thought leaders, innovators, and influencers, takes pride in his contribution, especially now that he is building legacy work that transcends fashion and fame.
“Every child deserves to feel worthy, seen, and celebrated — and we are using fashion as a tool to spark that transformation,” Koil emphasized.
CALL TO ACTION
Koil Foundation is calling on the general public, corporate bodies, influencers, and government agencies to support this dream. Whether through donations, volunteering, or partnerships, the foundation is ready to collaborate with anyone passionate about empowering children.

TASUEDFINEST commends Koil’s bold vision and commitment to grassroots impact. This is a reminder that true excellence is not just about personal records — it’s about how many lives your success can uplift.
“Koil is not just creating fashion anymore — he’s creating futures.”
