About the People Choice Award

The TASUEDFInest People’s Choice Awards was developed with the goal of celebrating and promoting the image of positive-minded youth. There’s a prevalent narrative that Nigerian youth are unproductive, but we believe otherwise. Nigerian youth are breaking new ground, contributing meaningfully, influencing change, and making a significant impact in their communities. Unfortunately, these efforts often go unrecognized and unappreciated, which can discourage further innovation. Our initiative aims to change that by highlighting and honoring these achievements. This year’s edition of the awards is themed “Discovering the Icons” and will focus on unearthing and celebrating young individuals making a positive impact.

Criteria for nomination

Individuals can able to nominate themselves or can be nominated by someone who is able to vouch for the legitimacy of the nominee’s Impact. The nominee must meet the following criteria:

The nominee must have been engaged in any development work for more than 12 months either in their Campus or in their environment. The Nominee must be from any Institution and any Background. The Impact must be a identify. The Nominees for students categories should not be older than 1year of graduation. The Impact work can be within any number of ares, including Education, Capacity Building, Journalism, Politics, health & well-being, Business, human rights, entertainment, sport and Tech.
