The official handover took place at the state office in Abeokuta, where representatives from both the government and the university’s Students Union were present to mark the occasion.

The donation aims to ease transportation challenges for the Students Union, enabling smoother coordination of student-related activities both within and outside the university. The bus is expected to enhance the union’s capacity to manage student affairs, organize events, and represent the interests of the TASUED student body more efficiently.

During the handover ceremony, government officials reiterated their commitment to improving education and providing necessary support for students across Ogun State. They highlighted that the donation was part of broader efforts to invest in education and empower student leaders.

The TASUED Students Union expressed deep appreciation for the gesture, acknowledging that the bus will significantly aid their operations, especially in connecting with students across various locations.
