In a groundbreaking display of skill and endurance, Koil Creation, a celebrated alumnus of Tai Solarin University of Education (TASUED), has stunned the world by hand-sewing a complete Agbada outfit—top, trousers, and flowing robe—in just 6 hours and 28 minutes, using only a needle and thread.
This remarkable achievement forms part of his ambitious 120-hour sew-a-thon, a record-breaking attempt designed to showcase the artistry and precision of hand sewing. The event, which has captivated audiences locally and internationally, has seen Koil Creation already complete four intricate outfits within the first 18 hours, including a kimono, a long gown, and a Danshiki ensemble.

Speaking about his feat, Koil Creation noted that the journey is both mentally and physically challenging but emphasized his passion for the craft as his driving force. “This is more than sewing for me—it’s about proving that dedication and skill can create magic, even with the simplest tools,” he said.
Supporters and fans have taken to social media to express their amazement, with many praising Koil Creation for redefining the possibilities of handcraft. The sew-a-thon continues, with Koil aiming to complete as many outfits as possible during the 120-hour marathon.
